Play Safe

Responsible Gaming

Guru365 is here for entertainment, and it should stay that way. This page explains the tools that keep you in control and where to find free, confidential help if you need it.

1. Our Promise

Most people play for fun and stay in control. For some, gaming can stop being fun and become hard to manage. We take that seriously. We would rather you play a little, within your means, for years, than a lot, past your limit, for a month.

Gaming is not a way to make money, fix debts or escape stress. The house holds an edge on every real-money game, which means play is expected to cost money over time. Treat any stake as the price of entertainment, and only ever play with money you can afford to lose.

2. Tools to Stay in Control

Your account has built-in tools to help you set your own boundaries. Turn them on the day you join, before you ever feel you need them.

  • Deposit limits. Cap how much you can add per day, week or month. Lowering a limit takes effect quickly; raising one takes longer, on purpose.
  • Reality checks. A reminder that pops up after a set time to show how long you have been playing.
  • Session limits. Decide how long a session lasts. Our free Session Limit Timer can help you plan this before you start.
  • Cooling-off. Take a short break, from a day up to several weeks, during which you cannot deposit or play.
  • Self-exclusion. Shut your account for a longer period, or permanently, when you need to step right back.

Want any of these set up and cannot find them? Message our team on WhatsApp and we will help you put them in place, no questions asked.

3. Signs to Watch For

Gaming may be becoming a problem if you notice any of these. Be honest with yourself:

  • Spending more time or money than you planned, again and again.
  • Chasing losses, trying to win back money you have already lost.
  • Playing with money meant for rent, bills, food or family.
  • Borrowing money or selling things to keep playing.
  • Hiding your play, or lying about it, to people close to you.
  • Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not playing.
  • Letting work, study or relationships slip because of gaming.

4. Tips for Safer Play

  • Set a budget before you start, and stop when you reach it.
  • Set a time limit, and take regular breaks.
  • Never chase losses. A loss is the cost of the entertainment, not a debt to win back.
  • Do not play while upset, stressed or under the influence of alcohol.
  • Keep gaming as one hobby among many, not the only one.
  • Never borrow money to play, and never treat winnings as income.

5. A Quick Self-Check

Ask yourself a few honest questions. Have you tried to cut back on play and failed? Do you play to escape worry or low mood? Have you lied to people close to you about how much you play? Has gaming caused money trouble or arguments at home? If you answered yes to any of these, it may be time to use the tools above or to reach out for support. There is no shame in it, and help is free.
